Gwirfoddoli

Ein swyddogaeth yw rhoi gwybodaeth, cyngor ac arweiniad ar bob agwedd ar wirfoddoli i wirfoddolwyr a sefydliadau sy’n recriwtio. Gallwn recriwtio gwirfoddolwyr ar eich rhan os ydych yn grŵp gwirfoddol neu’n grŵp cymunedol, yn fenter cymdeithasol, yn Gwmni Buddiannau Cymunedol neu’n elusen gofrestredig.

Volunteer and provide support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children

To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationship with their children and widen their links with the local community. Home-Start offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in the local community. Whilst visiting families at home is the traditional Home-Start approach, due to COVID-19, our Volunteers will be asked to support a family through weekly telephone/video calls.

Volunteer to make a regular call, send an email or a letter

Deafblind UK members have combined sight and hearing loss and many live alone with few family and friends around them. Making a regular call or sending an email or letter to one of our members could make a huge difference right now. So many of them live alone and having the opportunity to speak to another person can be of huge benefit to their general well-being.
